Eric was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario to Czech parents, Eric moved to Prague in 2012 and kick-started his career in barbering in 2017 as an apprentice to Kraig Casebier. He has since honed his craft in both the UK and Canada before making his dream a reality in 2019 by establishing The Canadian Barbershop.

Outside the shop, Eric has a deep love for music from Oldies and Rockabilly to Grunge and Folk. A classically trained violinist for 14 years, he also played drums in an Ottawa-based band during his college years.

These days, he’s a proud dad to two beautiful children, a lovable dog named Toby, and two quirky cats, always finding joy in the little moments when he’s not behind the chair.

Travis was born in the lively city of Edmonton, Alberta, Travis found his way to Prague, a city he's come to know and love since 2012. In 2023, he decided to make Prague his permanent home, bringing with him a wealth of experiences and a passion for barbering.

Travis's journey has taken him through various occupations… It wasn't until 2023 that he discovered his true calling as a barber. Travis is dedicated to providing the people of Prague with a taste of Canadian style and precision.

While Travis is fluent in English, he's on a mission to embrace the local culture even further by learning Czech. Expect a friendly "Ahoj!" during your visit.

Ruslan, also known as Russel, is a highly experienced barber from Kharkiv, Ukraine, who recently fled his home country with his family to seek a better life in Prague. With 12 years of experience, he is a true expert in his field, with a deep knowledge of the latest trends and techniques in barbering. 

Russel is a proud father and devoted family man, whose other pastimes include travelling and listening to good music.

Whether you're looking for a classic haircut or a bold new style, Ruslan is the barber you can trust to deliver exceptional results every time.

Danny has been in the barbering game since he was 20, starting out in Hradec Králové before taking his clippers to Auckland, New Zealand. There, he honed his craft with an international clientele and built a strong foundation of skill and style.

He returned to Prague in 2012, managing some of the city’s best barbershops and building a reputation for precision, creativity, and cuts that make every client look and feel their best.

Outside the shop, Danny plays guitar, flips through skateboard magazines, and practices martial arts; a mix of creativity and focus that shines through in every cut.

Helena brings years of experience in hairdressing and over five years in barbering, combining deep technical skill with a passion for her craft. She loves the precision and tradition of classic hot-towel shaves, while also having a flair for modern, creative cuts that stand out.

Her approach is all about balance and delivering top-quality service. Whether you’re after a sharp, timeless look or something bold and modern, Helena knows how to make it work for you.

Outside of the shop, Helena embraces a healthy, creative lifestyle. She loves spending time in the kitchen, practicing yoga, exploring personal growth, and cruising the streets on her roller skates. Her energy, positivity, and dedication make her an invaluable part of The Canadian Barbershop team.

Kryštof is a former Youth Olympian and multi-medalist whose background in professional sport shaped his discipline and precision. Specializing in canoeing and with experience in football, he brings the same focus to barbering.

Cutting hair since 2020, he has worked in several leading Prague barbershops and combines technical skill with a sharp eye for style. Alongside barbering, he is also active in modeling.
